Problem
The Daily Mail has a number of successful independent websites. They have some of the highest readerships in the world. Their digital policy was going through a transitional and unifying period. I was asked to design a new look and feel for one of their core sites Mail Travel. The site was dated and difficult to use.
Solution
It took several months of working closely with a UX Designer and the wider project team to develop a new solution. I looked to simplify the UI introducing white space and more exciting grids to hold travel photography. The site was also designed to be responsive a first for Mail Travel.
