Problem
I joined as a freelance lead UI designer in the middle of a website redesign for Jaeger clothing. The company wanted to move away from its historic use of black and implement a looser more social media look and feel.
Solution
I developed a contemporary-looking site that had a social look and feel. Using a series of grids that could accommodate different layouts including blog and product pages. The deliverables were some of the worst I have experienced as the design was produced while the UX was still in development. This resulted in multiple redesigns. It highlighted the need of UX Design and for wireframes to be signed off. However, the project was completed by the deadline and the client liked the final results!
